In 1984 Larry Schmedding, of Spokane Washington, formed Agri-Tool & Supply to incorporate new ideas and improve welding type products. Agri-Tool & Supply started building Sawmill and DeBarker parts out of High Alloy Castings. Throughout the years, Agri-Tool & Supply and Perry Points, of Fort Benton Montana, have worked together on many different welding and wear control parts. Upon the death of Mr. Loran Perry, Agri-Tool & Supply acquired Perry Points to form a successful merger of the two companies. In recent events Larry has sold the "Tillage" division of Agri-Tool & Supply to his close and respected friend Dave Kurtz.

Dave Spent some years working with his father and two brothers on an apple farm in Yakima Washington. Later in life he took work in sawmill maintenance repairing and improving sawmill equipment which eventually led him to decades of work in machine manufacturing. Dave SEMI retired in 2020 but wasn't finished yet. Larry and Dave began to talk about Dave purchasing the "Tillage" part of Agri-Tool & Supply. Dave has since acquired that aspect of Agri-Tool & Supply ands plans to eventually absorb the Welding Supplies and Spikes as well.
