Crack resistant deposits within the Perfect Pass - 8901 have high strength yet are machinable when applied to a wide variety of cast irons. This special alloy is designed to remove impurities in the base metal by floating them out, rather than trapping them in the deposit. Deposits are machinable even though the bond line when proper procedure is used.
